NIDO COMMUNITY
2 months to 18 months
The Nido environment is meant to replicate the home. In the Nido community the children are met with warmth and love while developing their hand eye coordination through movement and are able to explore their world in a safe and caring place.
INFANT COMMUNITY
18 Months to 3 years
The Infant Community is for toddlers who have begun walking. This program provides a secure and supportive environment where young children can develop independence, self esteem, and concern for others. Emphasis is also placed on developing initial motor coordination and language skills in a nurturing environment.
CHILDREN'S HOUSE
3 years to 6 years
The Children's House is divided into 3 different programs, Dual Language program in English/Spanish, a monolingual program in English and a monolingual program in Spanish. All programs are divided into 4 different sections: practical life, censorial, language, and mathematics. We focus on developing positive work habits and high academic skills. As well as independence, self esteem and auto education. Grace, courtesy and the cultural subjects of art, science, geography, biology and music are also integrated in our curriculum.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Where Students Come First
Montessori Learning Center has been dedicated to preparing young children for a lifetime of learning in a safe, nurturing environment. From the beginning, we have been committed to providing a fun, educational place where young children can learn and develop through hands-on, minds-on activities. Over the years, our curriculum has evolved to reflect innovations done in the Montessori environment and updating our classroom environments, while still keeping our conservative Montessori philosophy.
Our Staff is committed to excellence in education by teaching in accordance to the laws of nature and helping the child develop his or her potential.
